The Glenerne lies at the quieter southern end of Eyemouth's lively working harbour, and is a haven of tranquillity in what is both a fascinating and captivating location. Edinburgh and Newcastle are each just over one hour away by train or road.

Our guests stay in understated luxury, just a short walk from the yachts and trawlers, the shops and cafes, and some fabulous coastal scenery.

There's also a clean and sheltered beach nearby, and numerous opportunities for walkers, cyclists, golfers, water sports enthusiasts, or for simply relaxing and taking in the fresh sea air.

The Glenerne has a long history tied to Eyemouth's fishing and maritime past. Built in the late 19th century, it was originally a large Manse house with gardens.

It has been a guesthouse for many years and was previously a restaurant known as Churches.
